•  attenuated nos bridge solder in

•  disconnect SAA7000 pin16 from the trace
•  connect pin16 with 1kOhm resistor to pin18

Depending on the CD player and the position of the clock quartz, an additional cable connection must be made. Use a multimeter to check whether there is a connection from XSYS (nos bridge) to the decoder chip. The corresponding pin on the decoder can vary depending on the CD player.
